Press Secretary KJP Nailed by Legal Accusation – Watchdog Claims She Went Way Too Far with MAGA

What’s Happening:

We haven’t heard much from Biden’s “stellar” press secretary, lately. Karine Jean-Pierre has shocked Americans with her unwillingness to answer questions and partisan leanings. The White House press secretary’s job is to simply relay information from the administration to the public.

Yet KJP seems far more interested in spreading the Democratic Party’s talking points. She was particularly amped up in 2022, when she went out of her way to help Democrats win the midterms. But now, her little comments could put her in violation of the law.

From NBC News:

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre violated a law intended to prevent federal employees from using their offices to influence elections when she repeatedly referred to “mega MAGA Republicans” in the run-up to the 2022 midterms, a government watchdog agency said…

“Because Ms. Jean‐Pierre made the statements while acting in her official capacity, she violated the Hatch Act prohibition against using her official authority or influence for the purpose of interfering with or affecting the result of an election,” Ana Galindo‐Marrone, who leads the agency’s Hatch Act Unit, wrote in a letter Wednesday.

Oh, no! A watchdog group is accusing Jean-Pierre of using her official post in the government to push a political agenda. Presidents can get away with this, when they are giving campaign speeches. But most underlings can’t use their position to promote a political party.

It appears KJP frequently repeated Biden’s “mega MAGA” slur against Republicans during the 2022 campaign. Biden has used a variety of terms to insult Trump and his supporters and, by extension, the entire Republican Party.

He’s called them “ultra MAGA,” “mega MAGA,” and other uninspired variants. Biden has tried to spread slander that Republicans are “ultra” or extremist. He’s called conservatives “threats to democracy” among other attacks.

Biden can do that all he wants, but when KJP does it, she does it as part of the U.S. government. And that could be a violation of the Hatch Act.

Could this result in a prosecution? We can’t say. But I wouldn’t be surprised if Republicans in Congress didn’t do something about this.

Key Takeaways:

  • A watchdog group is accusing the White House press secretary of violating the Hatch Act.
  • KJP slandered Republicans calling them “mega MAGA” to allegedly influence the 2022 elections.
  • Government officials are banned from promoting political parties.
