I don’t care who you are, it’s downright shameful what Joe Biden’s done to this economy. He licks his ice cream cones as prices for everyday necessities skyrocket. Don’t be fooled, it is entirely in his control.

Biden triggered this crisis by flooding the economy with new cash, shutting down our energy production, opening the border to millions of invaders, and picking morons to handle our supply chain crisis. The end result has been skyrocketing food costs, hurting Americans already struggling to make ends meet.

But as Biden does nothing to fix his failures, one red state moves to find a solution.

As egg prices continue to soar, new bills filed in the state legislature would allow Texans to have chickens in their backyards…

State Sen. Bob Hall, R-Edgewood, filed SB 326 to amend Chapter 217 of Local Government Code to allow six chickens in a single-family residential lot. The bill allows municipalities to impose some “reasonable regulations.” It also prohibits poultry breeding, raising or keeping roosters, and imposes a minimum distance between a chicken coop and another lot.

Texas lawmakers are looking to expand the law so that residents can raise their own chickens, in their backyards. Texans with enough land can already raise chickens and other animals. But this new bill would let people with backyards raise chickens themselves.

A chicken, on average, lays one egg every 24 hours or so. A family that raises several chickens will have plenty of eggs, by the end of a week. As long as the costs of tending chickens stay low, they will have more than enough eggs for their family. Hell, they might even be able to sell the extras to their neighbors!

The reason egg prices are skyrocketing is due to a number of factors. The media is blaming the avian flu, to protect Joe Biden (though, something tells me this flu might also be his administration’s fault. Some agency probably dropped the ball.). But the fact remains that the crippled supply chain and ongoing inflation are making this much worse.

And what has Joe done to help bring down the price of eggs? Hm… let me see… oh, nothing. Absolutely nothing. Biden pretty much does nothing except sign bills and orders pushed by the far left.

Everything he’s done since entering office has been to help special interest groups, lobbyists, and his allies in China. Regular Americans? They’ve been left in the dust.
