While the mainstream press obsesses over each and every exit from the White House as if it’s the latest sign of the pending apocalypse, reality suggests that turnover is a natural thing for any presidential administration.

While there’s no denying that the exit of Gary Cohn is a bit of a blow to the Trump administration, that doesn’t mean that someone just as capable isn’t waiting in the wings to fill his shoes.   

In fact, the stars are aligning for an Economic rockstar to saddle up with the band and play right along.

The Right Scoop has the details on who may be ready to climb aboard the Trump train.

As you all know Gary Cohn resigned as Trump’s chief economic advisor after Trump the protectionist route on trade tariffs for steel and aluminum.

It’s being reported today that the leading contender for Cohn’s job is longtime CNBC host Larry Kudlow:

The choice makes a ton of sense. In addition to the fact that Kudlow has a ton of experience that will only help the administration continue to reach its goals, he just so happens to already have a relationship with the commander-in-chief.

In the long run, it could be a win-win situation for all involved.

According to CNN Trump has already told people that he’s picking Kudlow:

President Donald Trump told people Monday that he has settled on Larry Kudlow to replace Gary Cohn as the new director of the White House’s National Economic Council, according to a source familiar with his conversations.

We’ll have to wait and see if Kudlow joins the team or not, but we can be certain that Trump will make the best choice that he possibly can to fill Cohn’s role.

In the meantime, let’s all remember that a simple shuffling of the decks doesn’t mean that the whole thing is going to blow up, in spite of the hopes and wishes of those in the mainstream media.

After all, it’s getting tough to count how many times they have claimed that the sky was going to fall in any second since Trump entered office.
