Supreme Court Rules on Major Christian Case – They Just Ruined Liberals’ Last Day of Pride Month

What’s Happening:

The Supreme Court has been issuing verdicts on a number of critical cases. These decisions will affect every American and their rights. The highest court in the land has been deciding on First Amendment issues, affirmative action, and some of Biden’s worst policies.

Most recently, however, they made a ruling that strikes at the left’s most-precious “minority group.” These days, Democrats place the feelings of this group above Americans’ constitutionally-protected liberties. But in a shock decision, the court just shut down the left’s LGBT agenda. On “pride” month, of all times.

From Fox News:

The U.S. Supreme Court held that a Colorado graphic designer who wants to make wedding websites does not have to create them for same-sex marriages, in a landmark decision that pit the interests of LGBTQ non-discrimination against First Amendment freedom.

In a 6-3 decision issued Friday, the high court ruled in favor of artist Lorie Smith, who sued the state over its anti-discrimination law that prohibited businesses providing sales or other accommodations to the public from denying service based on a customer’s sexual orientation.

Woah. The Supreme Court upheld the First Amendment religious rights of all Americans when they struck down a Colorado law. The state was trying to force a Christian graphic designer to make a wedding website for gay marriages.

But the woman refused, citing her Christian beliefs on marriage. Colorado didn’t seem to care about Smith’s religious rights, nor the fact that the First Amendment prohibits the government from passing laws that restrict someone’s “free exercise” of religion.

The highest court in the land did not agree. In a 6-3 ruling, the court sided with Smith and ruled that her rights were violated by the state.

This is a critical decision, at a critical time. Democrats, in state government and federal government, have been putting the rights of gay and transgenders ahead of everyone else. They have rejected the First Amendment’s protections of religious Americans and have decided the feelings of gays and lesbians matter more than the law.

But this court order flies in the face of the LGBT agenda. And it will affect every state that tries to force religious Americans to embrace practices that go against their convictions.

The fight is far from over, but this is a major victory for Americans.

Key Takeaways:

  • The Supreme Court ruled in favor of a Christian web designer, overruling an LGBT law.
  • Colorado law required religious Americans to provide services to gay weddings.
  • The court decided that this law violated the First Amendment.
