Moments After Defeating Biden in Debate, Trump Makes 1 Shocking Declaration

The fallout of the first presidential debate of 2024 cannot be overstated. Those of us who have been paying attention expected this outcome. For years, Democrats have ignored the signs of Joe Biden’s decline. But, the entire country saw how bad Biden’s gotten up close.

Biden fumbled again and again. Many times, he couldn’t finish a statement.

But even the restraints created by CNN to hurt Trump failed to do so. The former president appeared confident. He spoke clearly, was energetic, and looked far more in control than his opponent. And soon after the debate was finished, Team Trump issued a powerful verdict.

From The Post Millennial:
Donald Trump’s campaign declared victory right after the debate between him and incumbent president Joe Biden on Thursday evening.

As the debate finished, a statement from the Trump campaign went out saying, “Tonight President Trump delivered the greatest debate performance and victory in history.” …

Trump’s campaign said that after the debate, it was clear that Biden deserved to be “fired” from the White House. “Throughout the debate Biden lied, invented stories, and could not articulate a single plan to make things less expensive and keep our people safe, choosing instead to change the subject and dwell on the past. Even worse, Biden couldn’t explain why he took a week of vacation at Camp David while 50 ISIS terrorists ran loose in our country,” the statement added.

Trump’s campaign quickly declared victory in the first presidential debate. In the official statement, it mostly steered clear of hammering Biden’s cognitive decline. The campaign only nodded at it by saying that Biden “could not articulate” his plan to help Americans. Later, the statement claimed that Biden was “too incompetent” to stand trial or “be President.”

Meanwhile, the campaign praised their candidate for delivering “the greatest debate performance and victory in history.” The Trump campaign took a victory lap over Trump’s answers—in which he outlined his plan to “reduce inflation,” bring down the “costs of groceries, housing, and gas,” and bring back his “first-term policies.”

Trump warned that a second Joe Biden term would lead to “World War III,” not to mention more policies that are hurting working Americans. By all accounts, Trump triumphed in the first debate. As Democrats scramble, trying to decide if they should replace Joe, Trump supporters are cheering.

Key Takeaways:

  • Donald Trump undoubtedly won the first debate against Joe Biden.
  • His campaign released a statement blasting Biden’s terrible performance.
  • Biden did so poorly in the first debate that Democrats are considering replacing him.
