Day After Biden Announces Re-election Campaign – Trump and DeSantis Storm Critical Swing State

What’s Happening:

After delaying for nearly four months, Joe Biden announced his 2024 re-election bid. But, despite what you might expect from a sitting president, the news brought little fanfare. Reports suggest few people are eager to keep Joe in office. But that won’t stop the liberal establishment from using every dirty trick in the book to keep their puppet in power.

Soon after the news spread, the GOP began ramping up efforts. It will take every last voter to ensure the White House is liberated from Democrats. Donald Trump, the GOP frontrunner is preparing a major stop to build momentum against old Joe. And hot on his heels is another Republican icon, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

From Breitbart:

Former President Donald Trump and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis are set to appear at fundraising rallies in Iowa on the same day later this month…

The Associated Press reports Trump will headline a rally May 13 at a park in Des Moines, citing a Trump campaign official who spoke on the condition of anonymity…

DeSantis was already slated to headline Iowa Rep. Randy Feenstra’s annual summer fundraiser in northwest Iowa and speak at a party fundraiser later that evening in Cedar Rapids, AP sets out.

Both Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis will be in Iowa at the same time. They will be headlining major events and rallies to pull together the GOP ahead of the 2024 election. Iowa is a critical state in the election cycle. It has been one of the first states to vote in the primaries, making it a key stop for presidential hopefuls.

Trump is currently the Republican Party frontrunner. The latest polls have him ahead of his GOP rivals. Ron DeSantis has become the most successful Republican governor, wowing Americans across the country. Many believe DeSantis will be Trump’s top primary rival.

Whoever ends up the Republican candidate has his work cut out for him. Joe Biden is a failed president. But he enjoys the support of the liberal media and billionaire donors. Democrats need to keep Biden in place, so they can continue their radical, socialist agenda.

Under Joe Biden, America has suffered runaway inflation, an open border, rising crime, and attacks against our liberty. But all the outrage in the world won’t mean anything if Republicans can’t mobilize the voting base.

We’ll see how successful they are in Iowa.

Key Takeaways:

  • Top Republican leaders will be in Iowa, fundraising at the same time.
  • Trump will host a rally on May 13 in Des Moines.
  • On the same weekend, DeSantis will be speaking at two fundraisers.
