Over the summer, patriotic film Sound of Freedom shocked Hollywood elitists. As blockbuster films tanked, a movie released by a faith-based company earned over $200 million. It even beat out “tent pole” franchises from Disney.
The film continues to enjoy success, being released in countries all over the world.
But leftists continue to slander a film based on true accounts of child sex trafficking in the United States. For some reason, Democrats don’t want Americans to know what is going on across our border. Some critics accused the movie of being associated with a conspiracy movement. In response, the US Southern Command insulted audiences and American heroes with this move.

The free screenings of the film, which has grossed over $200 million, had been planned for Aug. 28 and Oct. 19. A flyer obtained by the outlet from Joanne B. Fitzgerald, US Army Garrison-Miami manager, invited all locally based personnel to attend and stated the film was being shown “In support of SOUTHCOM’s mission to promote respect for human rights and combating trafficking in persons in Central and South America and the Caribbean.”
Unbelievable. SOUTHCOM specifically wanted to screen this movie, because it highlighted the kind of work they do to protect human rights and combat trafficking. But a radical leftist accused the movie of pushing political “ideology” and accused the military of not remaining “apolitical.”
The activist even suggested that star Jim Caviezel had ties to Qanon, which he does not.
Because of the dishonest words of one person, SOUTHCOM pulled the screens. They folded faster than chairs in a hurricane. Even though the movie addresses real issues that SOUTHCOM fights to solve, they were too scared of a blogger.
Meanwhile, the U.S. military received no backlash when it hosted a “kid-friendly” drag show at Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE).
Now we see why so few young Americans are willing to risk their lives and join Biden’s military. This Pentagon embraces radical, woke leftism while vilifying our heroes. It is too scared of offending a few bloggers but insults men and women who fight to protect countless lives.
