If you needed clarification, President Donald Trump hasn’t been impeached.

The House voted for impeachment but this hasn’t passed on to the Senate yet. Therefore, Democrats have NOT removed Trump.

And furthermore, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is dragging her feet.

For some reason, she refuses to send the two articles of impeachment to the Senate … maybe because she knows they likely won’t pass.

But whatever the reason, Whitewater Independent Counsel Ken Starr doesn’t like it.

In fact, he says Pelosi’s stalling is absolutely unconstitutional!

I’m betting much of America agrees with Star, too.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., is ‘constitutionally wrong’ in stalling the transfer of two articles of impeachment to the Senate, former Whitewater Independent Counsel Ken Starr said Saturday.

Starr is spot on!

He said flat-out that this is a “phony impeachment” because it never headed to the Senate for a vote, as I said above.

Starr added that this so-called impeachment should have a “footnote or an asterisk” because of that.

As for Pelosi, she says she won’t send the articles over until she can be sure they’ll get a “fair” assessment in the Senate.

…in other words, she’s playing for time.

Democrats controlled the House, so it was basically inevitable impeachment would pass through there.

But they DON’T control the Senate, and Democrats don’t like anything they can’t control.

Starr even went a step further and accused Pelosi of abusing House power:

She appears to be intruding into the power of the Senate which is ironic in the extreme, isn’t it?

So, I think there is an abuse of House power in the way that this process unfolded in the House and riding rough-shod over minority rights and, ultimately, the rights of the president.

Spot-on again, Mr. Starr!

In the end, I think Democrats are afraid. They know these articles of impeachment will fail in the Senate.

And here comes 2020 … where it looks like Trump already has a big advantage!

Maybe we can expect another landslide victory. I certainly do!
