America is battling a crisis today, but there is a silver lining. Many are realizing that there are problems we can fix, now.
From the start, China has withheld vital information about this virus. They later blamed us and threatened to withhold life-saving medicine.
Hmm… you think now might be a good time to rethink our relationship with this communist nation?
It seems they crossed a line and a congressman is introducing a solution.
His powerful new bill will make sure we are not caught in this situation ever again.

America needs to bring drug manufacturing back home to the United States in preparation for future health crises like the coronavirus pandemic, Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas., said Wednesday…
“We have got a piece of legislation we are introducing — I think this week — we’re calling the ‘Beat China Act,’ but it will help us with all countries maintaining our ability to produce drugs here in the United States or at least in our territories and protectorates,” he stated.
Rep. Chip Roy of Texas is pushing legislation called the “Beat China Act.” It is focused on ending our dependency on Chinese manufacturing.
This crisis has shown us that we need more production stateside. If another crisis like this happens again (or worse, a war), we can’t sit back and depend on a foreign power.
This seems like a no-brainer. We get lots of our drugs from China. But they threatened to deny shipping us medicine.
America needs to move the bulk of our manufacturing (not just pharmaceuticals) back to our country.
That way, we don’t have to worry about losing needed supplies in an emergency.
Wow… this all sounds very familiar. Tell me, has someone recently talked about getting more factories and manufacturing back to the U.S.?
Wasn’t someone urging the country to do everything we could to do that—long before this crisis?

Once again, the president proves to have foresight beyond anyone else. Only now is the rest of the government waking up to his wisdom.
Hopefully, Congress will back this bill and pass it soon.
