Piers Morgan Calls for ‘The View’ to Be Canceled After Their Failed Attempts to Cancel Trump

When the late Barbara Walters debuted The View back in 1997, it was meant to be a show that featured a panel of women, each of whom had diverse political views. Sadly, in the decades since then, The View has descended into nothing more than just another tool for the radical left.

These days, The View is hosted by Whoopi Goldberg, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Joy Behar, Ana Navarro, and Alyssa Farah Griffin. Each of them proudly cast their votes for Kamala Harris. They were then shocked when Donald Trump trounced Harris not only in the Electoral College, but also in the popular vote.

The women of The View have spent months trashing Trump on a daily basis. The fact that he won so decisively shows that The View is more irrelevant than ever, with its anti-Trump hosts not having their fingers on the pulse of what the average American wants or needs.

That’s why, in the wake of Trump’s win, the British media personality Piers Morgan is calling for The View to be canceled.

From Fox News:
“I don’t like cancel culture — but given that the hosts of ‘The View’ have, by their own admission, worked so hard to cancel Donald Trump, it’s time they were canceled themselves,” Morgan wrote in an op-ed for The New York Post.

“They all despise the man who is to be their president again, and that tediously myopic, one-sided act just won’t play now that he’s been given such a resounding endorsement from the American people,” Morgan wrote.

Morgan described the co-hosts as “partisan obsessives competing with each other over who detests Trump most.”

“Because ‘The View’ has become a pointless, irrelevant parody of itself that urgently needs to be put out of its — and our — misery,” he added.

The View has become more ridiculous than ever since Trump’s victory. Instead of taking a good hard look in the mirror, far-left co-host Hostin has frequently blamed racism, sexism and misogyny for Harris’ defeat. Hostin has also ridiculously claimed that Harris’ loss has “nothing to do with policy” but rather “cultural resentment.”

That’s exactly the kind of rhetoric that the majority of Americans are sick and tired of.

Harris’ Debacle On The View

Ironically, it was an appearance on The View that many say cost Harris the election. While interviewing Harris on the ABC talk show last month, Harris attempted to feed her a softball question by asking if there was anything she would have done differently from President Joe Biden over the past four years.

“There’s not a thing that comes to mind,” Harris replied.

Given how bad things have gotten in Biden’s America, tying herself to it was a huge mistake. Indeed, under the Biden-Harris regime, the economy went to shambles, and inflation skyrocketed. Millions of illegal aliens flooded our borders. Meanwhile, millions of real Americans were left struggling just to put food on the table.

Kamala’s response to her super-fan Hostin only reminded voters that she was a huge part of all of that. Wanting a change, they went another direction and voted for Trump.

During another recent episode, Behar admitted that she and her fellow co-hosts are “miserable” that Trump won.

“We lost the election. We’re miserable,” she whined. “Half of this country is miserable. And let’s just tell the truth: We hate that he won. We hate it. And everybody is uptight and crazy right now.”

Perhaps Behar and her fellow co-hosts are also “miserable” because they’ve been shown just how irrelevant they truly are. In the end, the ladies of The View shouldn’t be surprised if they do end up being canceled after all.

Key Takeaways:

  • Piers Morgan is calling for “The View” to be canceled.
  • The hosts all voted for Harris and are livid over Trump’s win.
  • Behar has admitted co-hosts are “miserable” Trump won.
