Days After Trump’s Infamous Arrest – Donald’s Blockbuster Update Sends Democrats into Complete Panic

What’s Happening:

When life gives you lemons, some people turn that into a positive by making lemonade. Former President Donald Trump used that recipe for success after he was arrested in Georgia on charges tied to the 2020 election. Like the great businessperson he is, he turned an attack into an opportunity that shocked the opposition.

Leftists thought they were going to slam dunk Trump with the unprecedented charges they invented but he had other plans. While leftists celebrated across the mainstream media and Democrats praised each other, Trump went to work. The leftists forgot that Trump’s name and image are worth a lot of money around the world.

Democrats made sure the one photo they should have kept hidden was sent far and wide across the digital world. And Trump turned that one photo into cash.

From The Daily Wire:

In the 48 hours that followed the release of Trump’s first mugshot on Thursday, his campaign reportedly gathered $7.1 million while selling merchandise displaying the image.

Trump’s savvy team wasted no time capitalizing on the mugshot mania. Reports show his “NEVER SURRENDER!” caption was displayed on shirts, mugs, beer Koozies, and bumper stickers and sold like crazy. Friday was a big merchandise payday for Trump with POLITICO reporting Trump raked in $4.18 million on the day.

Getting indicted has apparently led to Trump supporters to send in more money. His campaign reported raising nearly $20 million in the past few weeks since his indictments in Washington, D.C., and in Georgia.

“Organic money has skyrocketed, especially after @realDonaldTrump tweeted out the picture along with the website URL,” Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung said.

It was his first tweet on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, since January 2021. Trump’s popularity and ability to raise money hasn’t been stunted so far by any of the wild politically motivated charges against him.

Trump still leads across the voting polls and his campaign is leading all GOP contenders in fundraising. Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings for the second quarter showed Trump raised $35 million and had $22.5 million cash on hand, according to Bloomberg.

As Trump continues to lead the GOP race for president in 2024, we’ll have to watch how the various criminal indictments affect his ability to campaign. In the meantime, leftists may not want to rally Trump donors further with more mugshots. Trump’s face is a gold mine for campaign funds.

Key Takeaways:

  • Trump gets arrested and finds another way to hammer leftists.
  • Democrats are shocked by Trump selling millions in merchandise.
  • Now famous jailhouse mugshot is a hot money-maker for Trump.
