Trump Scores Big Win – Major Swing State Sees More Republicans Vote Early Than Democrats

We are now in the final days of the 2024 presidential election. At the time of this writing, Kamala Harris and Donald Trump appear to be neck and neck, with no clear frontrunner emerging.

The race is so tight that it seems that it will be decided by just a few battleground states. One of these states is North Carolina, and Trump just got some news there that can only be described as a huge victory for him.

It seems that Republican voters in North Carolina have been heeding Trump’s calls to get out and vote early. If this happens in other battleground states, he will likely win this election.

From The Washington Examiner:
More Republicans in the Tar Heel State have taken part in early voting across the state over the past 14 days than Democrats, bucking historic trends of higher early voter turnout from Democrats.

“Through yesterday’s close of early voting and the absentee ballot meeting we have right now, a larger percentage of Republicans have cast their ballot in terms of turnout over Democrats,” said North Carolina State Board of Elections Executive Director Karen Brinson Bell in a board meeting Wednesday afternoon.

Votes received for unaffiliated voters are also higher than normal, according to Bell.

This comes after it was revealed that Harris’ campaign has changed much of its remaining ad spending in North Carolina in the last week of the election. Indeed, the campaign has pulled millions of dollars worth of ads from the major North Carolina media markets.

The Race Is Incredibly Tight

The latest polls have Trump and Harris tied at 47% in North Carolina. However, it should be noted that Trump leads Harris from Charlotte to western North Carolina by 12 points. He also leads Harris by 9 points in North Carolina’s coastal area. In Central North Carolina, Trump and Harris are tied at 45%. As for the Triangle area of Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill, Harris leads Trump by 55% to 40%.

This will all likely send Democrats into full panic mode, as they had been assuming that Harris would be trouncing Trump in most states by now. This is simply not the case, as the American people cannot forget the damage that she and Joe Biden have done to this country over the past four years.

Under the Biden-Harris regime, the economy is in shambles, and inflation is at an all-time high. Millions of illegal aliens have flooded our borders. Meanwhile, millions of real American citizens are struggling just to put food on the table.

There are just under 7.8 million North Carolinians that are registered to vote. At the time of this writing, 3.37 million ballots have been cast across early voting and absentee ballots. This means that around 43% of eligible voters have made their choice in North Carolina, with many of them picking Trump.

If what’s happening in North Carolina is indicative of the rest of the country, it certainly bodes well for Trump. With the stakes of this election being higher than ever, we can only hope that it goes in Trump’s favor!

Key Takeaways:

  • More Republicans voted early than Democrats in the battleground state of North Carolina.
  • The race between Harris and Trump is as tight as can be.
  • Voters aren’t forgetting the damage Harris has done to America with Biden.
