Donald Trump Just Called the FBI’s Bluff – He Tells AG Garland to Go Ahead and Release Documents

What’s Happening:

As more information comes out regarding the FBI’s raid on Trump’s home, the more suspicious it becomes.

AG Garland claimed he didn’t know about it, only to say he was the one who signed off on it. Then, the department contradicts its own policies to leak a supposed reason for the raid.

From Twitter:

So hours after Merrick Garland says that DOJ only speaks through its filings in court, they go out and leak this story to the Washington Post.

The DOJ allegedly leaked a story to the Washington Post claiming they were after nuclear documents. Then they threatened to release the warrant to the public, giving Trump the final say.

So, 45 is calling their bluff.

From Breitbart:

Former President Donald Trump said he is “ENCOURAGING the immediate release” of the search warrant and related documents that led to Monday’s FBI raid of Mar-a-Lago in a statement released late Thursday night.

“…I am going a step further by ENCOURAGING the immediate release of those documents, even though they have been drawn up by radical left Democrats and possible future political opponents…”

A judge gave Trump a 3 PM deadline to decide if he wanted the FBI warrant against him to be released to the public.

With news that the FBI is accusing Trump of holding onto nuclear weapon documents at his home, it is possible they were trying to get Trump to request the warrant be kept sealed.

Instead, Trump is demanding the warrant to be released immediately.

It’s unclear if the Washington Post source is being honest about this nukes claim. Trump himself is saying that it is another hoax.

From Breitbart:

“Nuclear weapons issue is a Hoax, just like Russia, Russia, Russia was a Hoax, two Impeachments were a Hoax, the Mueller investigation was a Hoax, and much more,” Trump wrote on social media.

Trump called out the Washington Post story for failing to identify the people who leaked this information.

So, Trump is demanding the warrant to be released, something he had the right to do.

But will the DOJ actually do it? Plenty of secrecy and confusion has surrounded this raid. And even members of the FBI and DOJ have tried to distance themselves from the event.

Will they release the warrant? Will the federal government actually explain itself?

I guess we’ll find out eventually.

Key Takeaways:

  • A Washington Post story claims the DOJ was looking for nuclear docs at Trump’s home.
  • Trump denies nuclear documents were at his home, calling it a hoax.
  • He demanded the DOJ release the warrant to the public immediately.
