Do Democrats think they have a slam-dunk case against Trump? They do if you ask the mainstream media.

But Americans have long ago turned on their bogus impeachment scheme. Few are willing to believe that their case holds any water.

It seems that even their own people are turning on the Democrats. Their impeachment vote in the House was wildly partisan—for yea.

Yet three Democrats refused to vote for impeachment. In fact, one of them was so disgusted, he left the party.

Now that the trial is going to the Senate, Trump has assembled his team.

He has top lawyers defending him, include a Democrat. He’s turning on his party because he sees through their scheme.

President Donald Trump’s impeachment defense team will include Ken Starr, whose investigation led to the impeachment of President Bill Clinton, and Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz…

White House Counsel Pat Cipollone and Trump’s personal lawyer Jay Sekulow are heading the defense effort.

Democrats will not be happy to learn that Trump recruited Ken Starr, the most experienced lawyer on impeachment. And Alan Dershowitz, a man who opposed Bill Clinton’s impeachment and even voted for Hillary.

Why would a Democrat lawyer drop his party to help Trump fight this impeachment?

Could it be because the Democrats are up a creek without a paddle? They pushed a bogus impeachment built on non-crimes.

They accused him of all kinds of things, but only managed to come up with charges of “abuse of power,” and “obstruction of Congress.”

Democrats ignored all that bribery and “quid-pro-quo” stuff. Crack lawyers like Starr and Dershowitz will tear their case apart.

Trump will not only get a fair defense, but he will have impeccable lawyers. These men will make short work of the Democrats’ case.

They will utterly humiliate the left. But they should be used to that by now.
