In the weeks since Kamala Harris was anointed as Joe Biden’s replacement in this year’s presidential race, the mainstream media has been fawning over her like it’s their job. Despite this, however, Harris has noticeably not done a single interview in that time.

Now, former President Donald Trump is speaking out to reveal why he thinks Harris is refusing to do interviews. He’s pointing out that despite what the media is saying about Harris now, her record is nothing short of abysmal, and even she can’t defend it.

Indeed, polls during Joe Biden’s presidency have shown that Harris is one of the least popular vice presidents in history. If she were to sit down for an interview, she’d risk being confronted with her own failures. Harris and her supporters simply can’t have that.

From The Daily Wire:
“You know, the only thing they have going is the media will play off all of the bad things, bad things that happened during her term,” he continued. “She was so bad that five weeks ago, they wanted to remove her because she was unthinkable to be president. They were going to go with anyone. And then they were afraid that they would offend people if they did that.”

“She’s so bad,” he concluded. “She’s incompetent. And after they studied it a little bit, they realized it’s not going to be so easy to do. So they say, ‘Well, look, the press is going to do whatever we want,’ because the press is a rigged deal.”

On the subject of Harris avoiding the media, Trump said: “She would never do an interview like this that I can get with any network. She doesn’t do interviews because she can’t answer questions. I don’t know how she debates.”

“I hear she’s sort of a nasty person, but not a good debater,” Trump said. “But we’ll see, because we’ll be debating her, I guess, in the pretty near future. It’s gonna be announced fairly soon, but we’ll be debating her.”

Harris Simply Lacks Charisma 

Harris showed during the 2020 presidential election that she is indeed a terrible debater. She was the first Democrat to drop out of that race after failing to gain any traction.

The mainstream media has been trying to portray Harris as a likable and popular figure. The reality, however, could not be further from the truth. As soon as Harris is put in front of a camera, it immediately becomes clear that she lacks charisma.

If Harris were to sit down for an interview, she would undoubtedly quickly show American voters just how unlikable she really is. With the media already firmly in Harris’ corner, her team has instead decided to keep this honeymoon going as long as possible by having her avoid interviews altogether. You can expect them to try to draw this out as long as they can, with their goal likely being to keep her away from interviews at least until early voting starts.

This strategy is nothing new for Democrats. You might remember that in 2020, Democrats tried to hide Biden’s cognitive failings by having him campaign from a basement. Now, they are trying to hide Harris’ incompetence and lack of charisma by keeping her away from interviews at all costs.

The Democratic Party truly does have no shame.
