Just hours after independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced his running mate, former President Donald Trump slammed Kennedy, calling him “the most radical Left candidate in the race.”“RFK Jr. is the most Radical Left Candidate in the race, by far. I guess this would mean he is going to be taking votes from Crooked Joe Biden, which would be a great service to America,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
Kennedy’s presidential ticket shifted even more left with his pick of Nicole Shanahan, a lawyer and Democratic donor, to be his vice presidential running mate. Trump called out the selection as cementing Kennedy as a far-left candidate who may end up helping the former president’s campaign.
