Trump Says It’s Easier to Beat Kamala Because She Doesn’t Have the Democrat Base

In a matter of hours, it seems, Kamala Harris locked up the Democrat nomination. Harris was unable to get any votes in 2020—gaining only 2% support in her own state. Yet, we are to believe she is the best choice to run for Democrats? Critics have blasted the secretive nature of how Harris got delegate support. There was no public process. Voters were cut out entirely.

It seems there is a good reason why they did it this way. And Trump knows it, too.

Unless something unexpected happens, Harris will be facing off with Trump in November. Voters will have to decide between a former president with a proven track record and a woman who wasn’t picked by voters. During a recent interview, Trump revealed it will be easier for him to beat Harris than Biden. Despite Biden’s many problems, Trump thinks it would have been a bigger challenge. When he explains why, you just might agree.

From Daily Wire:
Former President Donald Trump believes Vice President Kamala Harris will be easier to beat in the presidential race than President Joe Biden because Harris does not have a base of support within the Democratic Party…

“She’s a radical left lunatic,” he continued. “She’ll destroy our country. She wants open borders.”…

“Now I have her. I would rather run against her than him. I think she’s easier than he is… And no matter how bad he was, people are gonna vote for him. She doesn’t have that base.”

Trump Makes a Bold Claim.

As the 2024 presidential race intensifies, former President Donald Trump has made a bold prediction: he believes Kamala Harris will be easier to defeat than Joe Biden. This statement has set the political world abuzz, adding another layer of intrigue to an already heated election season.

The reason he said this is hardly a secret. Trump claimed that, despite Biden’s many failures, he still had a base of support among Democrats. Harris, on the other hand, has no base. She failed to build a support base when she ran for president in 2020. Today, she took the nomination from Biden through what could only be called closed-door deals.

A Huge Embarrassment for Democrats?

Does anyone support Kamala Harris? She had terrible approval polls during Biden’s presidency. There seemed to be very little that she did as vice president that could be called impressive. Many critics are pointing out her failures as “border czar.” Aside from that task, she has done very little in her role in the Biden administration. Despite clamor from the media, she does seem popular among voters.

While some people will vote for her, as an alternative to Donald Trump, that might not be enough to win the election. Other anti-Trump liberals might very well vote for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. instead. Moderate voters and swing voters might pick Trump over Harris, given his track record and rising popularity.

The Media Narrative Breakdown

Already Kamala’s honeymoon is fading. For a few days, the media hyped her up as some kind of savior. But polls are coming in that show she is no better off than Biden was, when facing Trump. She will have to debate Trump at least once to put in a good showing. But it is unlikely she will be able to go toe-to-toe with the former president. Harris is untested and inexperienced. She is in no way ready to be president if she’ll ever be. And her reputation among some voters is so terrible, it is a joke that Democrats think she has a big chance.

Key Takeaways:

  • Trump believes Kamala Harris will be easier to defeat than Joe Biden in the 2024 presidential election.
  • The Republican explained Harris does not have a base of support within her party.
  • Harris acquired the nomination through closed-door deals, avoiding a public process.
  • Harris has faced criticism for her handling of the border crisis and her performance as vice president.
