President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address is in the books and as expected, the country appears to be split regarding his performance.

A recent CNN poll showed that 72 percent of viewers approved, though critics were quick to point out that most CNN viewers are Biden fans to begin with. And most people who watched were Biden voters as well.

Another hot topic of debate was the Republican response at certain points throughout the event.

Unsurprisingly, this is what the far-left hosts of ‘The View’ chose to focus on — but then they seemed to be caught in a clear double standard.

During Wednesday’s show, co-host Whoopi Goldberg ripped the GOP for their “despicable behavior” (via Breitbart):

What bothers me is I listen to people say we say we need to find a better way to talk to each other, and then we see these adults showing their behind, as my mother would say, and indulging in despicable behavior.

You don’t have to like what he says. But you owe him the respect. He is the president. For God’s sake, we had to listen to you-know-who, and nobody yelled. Nobody said you’re a liar. You’re a moron.

Nancy tore up the paper when it was finished. Get your party in order, man. You need to get your party in order.

Co-host Joy Behar followed this up by adding that Pelosi tearing up Donald Trump’s speech “was a very subtle way to do it,” while “yelling out is so junior high.”

It didn’t take long for conservative and Republican citizens and pundits to pounce, first deriding the “junior high” comment by pointing out just how amoral and hostile some leftists appear to be.

Far-left protests are hardly “subtle,” for example. And most would agree that the Speaker of the House tearing up the President’s speech after a State of the Union address on live TV isn’t subtle, either.

The other point of contention came with “you owe him your respect.”

This from a show that appeared to never, not once, give President Trump an ounce of real respect during his entire term. One could argue no Democrat ever gave him respect on Capitol Hill, in fact.

The media was relentless and notorious for ripping Trump at every turn, and critics say they don’t recall ‘The View’ taking comedian Kathy Griffin to task for posting a sickening picture of Trump’s severed head on social media.

The naysayers seem to be saying one thing: as usual, the hypocrisy of the left is on full and laughable display here.
