What’s Happening:
Old Joe Biden once had the reputation of being a “moderate” Democrat. But is that the same Joe Biden we’re seeing in the White House? Moderate Democrats tend to cooperate with Republicans. They find common ground between liberals and conservatives. Is that what Joe’s done these last two years?
You tell me. Recently, the Biden administration released its proposed budget for the 2024 fiscal year. It will cost taxpayers $6.8 trillion dollars and reads like a progressive wishlist. This is not the moderate Biden we were promised. And one Republican senator dropped the painful truth onto the White House.
From Fox News:
President Joe Biden is no longer in charge of the White House, according to one Republican lawmaker who took to social media to criticize the Biden administration’s newly proposed $6.8 trillion budget…
“The sad truth: The socialists are in charge of the White House,” Cruz tweeted Thursday. “Joe Biden certainly isn’t!”

Ted Cruz blistered the White House after it released its shocking budget demands for 2024. This staggeringly expensive budget includes everything from left-wing economic, education, climate, and healthcare demands.
Biden wants to burn through taxpayers’ money, raising taxes even while inflation continues to hammer us. Sen. Cruz made the bold statement that Joe Biden isn’t calling the shots, but the progressive left socialists are.
He criticized Biden for demanding more money from Americans when two-thirds of the country can’t make ends meet. Cruz lamented that many people have been forced to cash in their retirement plans just to survive.
Meanwhile, Biden’s trying to spend our cash like there’s no tomorrow. Well, for a man his age, there might not be. But for the rest of us, we don’t appreciate the government taking all our cash.
Cruz said what many of us have been thinking for years. Biden pretended to be a moderate during the election. But since stepping into the Oval Office, he has been talking and acting like a socialist. He wants to raise taxes, expand the size of the government, and spend our money on wasteful social programs.
Nowhere in his plans does he intend to secure the border, end wars overseas, bring jobs back to the country, and curb inflation.
Key Takeaways:
- Ted Cruz criticized Joe Biden’s 2024 massive spending budget.
- The Republican claimed “socialists” were in charge of the White House, not Joe Biden.
- Biden vowed to be a moderate but has been pushing a far-left progressive agenda.
