Woke Budweiser’s Brand New Can Backfires – Patriots Blindside Them for Terrible Move

What’s Happening:

It’s been nearly two months, but the Bud Light boycott is still going strong. The boycott has been so effective, that Bud Light is no longer the best-selling beer in America. Parent company Anheuser-Busch (that ironically is owned by big Republican donors) has failed to properly apologize or make things right with their mostly conservative customer base.

Instead, they keep coming out with idiotic ad campaigns meant to paper over the fact Bud Light joined the transgender movement–against the wishes of Americans. But Budweiser hasn’t learned one bit. Because they just issued another move to win over customers. And patriots are not happy with this one.

From Not the Bee:

Anheuser-Busch is trying to answer an age-old question in their latest marketing move: Do rednecks LOVE camo more than they DISLIKE transgenderism?

And, I’ll go ahead and answer that question for them: the pandering isn’t working.

Bud has done a complete 180! First, they use Dylan Mulvaney to push trans nonsense on their core customers and NOW they’re trying to guilt trip them by saying “If you support the troops, then you’ll buy our beer.”

Yikes. After being radio silent on Twitter since before the boycott erupted, Budweiser posted its first tweet last week, promoting a new beer bottle design. In what could be seen as an attempt to distract from the Bud Light can that had a transgender’s face on it, the company released a bottle wrapped in camo.

The post announced this “limited edition” bottle was made to celebrate the company’s 13-year partnership with Folds of Honor–a charity that provides scholarships to fallen veterans’ families.

Folds of Honor might be a worthy cause, but customers were not fooled by Budweiser’s attempt. Many saw this as the latest attempt by the beer company to pander to Americans upset about the Dylan Mulvaney fiasco.

Not once has the company apologized to customers. Not once has it come out and said that the partnership was a mistake. The executives that approved it were put on leave, not fired. It seems there has been no accountability over the company’s choice to embrace woke politics.

A camo bottle is not going to be enough to win over Americans. The solution seems so obvious. But only to people who have not gone woke.

Key Takeaways:

  • Budweiser came out with a “camo” bottle in a possible attempt to pander to customers.
  • This comes weeks after Bud Light partnered with a transgender, putting his face on a can.
  • Customers blasted the company over the camo bottle, criticizing the move.
